Working in DDTC has improved my social skills and gave me a sneak peek into the taxing world. I now know the basics of tax through a lesson recommended to me by my manager called Brevet and through all the sources that were available in the library provided by DDTC in order to enhance and smoothen my learning process.

During the internship period at DDTC in the DT team, there are many lessons learned here that may not be obtained during college, there is also a lot of guidance that can require interns to become better individuals for the future.

It was a great experience for me to have been given the opportunity for approximately 8 months to be able to learn about new knowledge and insights about the world of taxation. There are many things that I have done and learned during the internship program at DDTC, ranging from preparing objection letters and appeal letters, preparing various kinds of documents for trial purposes at the tax court, making arguments in the form of written explanations to face a trial, and many other things that I never got before. I am Maria Magdalena, a Tax Accounting student from Petra Christian University. Throughout my 3-month internship in the Fiscal Researcher and Advisory (FRA) and News Division, followed by a 5-month stint in the Litigation Division, I have been immersed in the intricate world of taxation and legal proceedings. The exposure to diverse facets of taxation and legal matters during my time in the FRA and News Division has broadened my understanding of taxes, providing me with a comprehensive view of taxation dynamics. Transitioning to the Litigation Division further honed my skills in navigating complex legal frameworks and analyzing cases with precision. During my internship program at DDTC, I gained a lot of knowledge about the theory of taxation itself and business processes in the world of tax consultants. DDTC gave me experiences that I never expected before. I was given the opportunity to work in a team to assist seniors in working on ongoing projects or disputes. My internship time was 3 months, which was certainly a very extraordinary experience for me, because I gained a lot of knowledge during the internship period. The work experience that I got such as recapitulating data, calculating income tax, and work procedures as a tax consultant from superiors and senior teams. DDTC also supports work and health needs for interns such as the Library, Perpajakan DDTC and DDTC news which are very helpful in tax work. In addition, for health DDTC provides sports facilities such as Mini Soccer, Badminton, Table tennis, Pound fit and Basketball. During my internship, especially in the Fiscal Research & Advisory Division (DDTC FRA), I was heavily involved in various writing studies on taxation and excise aimed at stakeholders. In addition, I was also given many opportunities to write and publish in DDTC News, which further increased my confidence to continue contributing to the world of taxation in the future. In addition, the internship process provided me with many experiences and stories from experts and seniors. During my internship here, the work environment really shaped my character, work ethic, and high discipline.

During my internship, I gained valuable experience in structuring my writing to meet DDTC standards. I also developed skills in analyzing the latest tax regulations and critically evaluating various situations. Additionally, DDTC offered numerous learning opportunities through classes and webinars. Participating in the Executive Internship Program at DDTC was a valuable opportunity for me. This was reflected when I was undergoing the Executive Internship Program for six months in the Transfer Pricing division at DDTC. DDTC also gave me the opportunity to join free webinars and paid tax training so that I could continue to develop my expertise, especially in transfer pricing. During this program, I also gained a lot of knowledge ranging from proper and correct writing procedures, systematic writing of transfer pricing documents (TP Doc), transfer pricing provisions in accordance with tax regulations in Indonesia, and many more. The supportive environment also gives me convenience to continue learning and developing my potential. Finally, I would like to thank all those who have helped me in this internship process. During my internship at DDTC, I learned a lot of new knowledge and insights, especially regarding transfer pricing. I was guided here starting from the basics of transfer pricing, then the regulations governing transfer pricing to the process of making transfer pricing documentation.
