Additional Covid-19 Related Tax Incentives and Technical Guidelines for the Appointment of E-Commerce VAT Withholders

To address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the government increases Article 25 Income Tax installment discounts and provides new incentives in the form of final Income Tax Borne by the Government on income from certain construction services. Technical guidelines regarding the appointment of PMSE VAT withholders have also been recently released.

This edition also reviews some of the latest provisions, including those related to the processing of requests for the implementation of MAP, technical guidelines for Gov. Reg. 23/2018, amendments to VAT and/or SLTGs exemption provisions for representatives of foreign countries, and exemptions from VAT on imports and/or supplies of strategic Taxable Goods. Finally, three new rules in the customs sector have been released as well.
