The book Gagasan Reformasi Perpajakan: Jaga Ekonomi, Jamin Penerimaan is an anthology featuring the 40 best articles from the DDTCNews 2025 Tax Article Writing Competition.

The title of this book reflects this year's competition theme, "Promoting Balanced Economic Growth and Tax Revenue." This theme captures the challenges Indonesian faces today amidst geopolitical tensions, global tax dynamics and the impact of various governmental transition policies. At the same time, tax revenue performance has yet to show meaningful momentum.

Against this backdrop, the 40 writers present ideas on how the government can reignite the engine of economic growth without compromising fiscal health. The proposals in this book also encourage boosting tax revenues without adding burdens on businesses and the public.

The contributors originate from diverse professions and backgrounds, including civil servants, private-sector employees, entrepreneurs and university students. The book’s editors and judges, comprising tax practitioners, academics and journalists, also contributed their writings. All the ideas compiled in this book are relevant and rich in perspective, offering insights from both the tax authority’s viewpoint and that of taxpayers.
