The government has recently re-extended the tax incentive policy for taxpayers affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. This extension is expected to help economic recovery and alleviate the burden on business players. Moreover, this edition discusses several other recent regulations, i.e. the new provisions on the VAT withholding procedures by SOEs as withholding agents, export price provisions for the calculation of export duties, monthly interest rates for the calculation of tax penalties, and import policies for certain products.
