It was both a great experienceand great pride for me when I got the chance to undergo a 3-month internship program at DANNY DARUSSALAM TAX CENTER (DDTC). After going through several stages of selection including Written Exam, TOEFL and interview, I was finally selected to be one of the interns of many applicants. I was given the opportunity that was not something everyone can get. I competed with so many friends out there to be accepted as an apprentice at DDTC.

I felt very fortunate to meet with great people, and to have the chance to be taught to work professionally. DDTC provides me with many opportunities to participate directly, both in doing office work and being included in various internal DDTC activities, one of which was the DDTC’s 10th anniversary. The event was held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Putri Duyung, Ancol, North Jakarta. At that time I felt that DDTC was in essence a family, very professional people but yet still share jokes and laughter as a family. I was also included in DDTC external activities, an exclusive seminar reviewing OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines 2017 and Its Impact on Indonesia. The seminar was attended by various participants from various backgrounds. There I witnesses immense anthusiasm in the participants, shown by the many questions asked. As a part of DDTC, I am proud of how DDTC can have a tremendous impact on Indonesia taxation system, in line with the DDTC 1 (one) decade tag line, A Decade of Impacting the Indonesian Tax System.

In addition to getting a new family, I was accepted, mentored and treated very well. That what made me very comfortable and have more responsibility, the internship is not a formality, but it requires professionalism, integrity and loyalty. The work requires accuracy, spirit and high self-motivation to complete the job. The team collaboration system implemented by DDTC gave me a very valuable lesson, that is, everything can be solved more easily when done together. In particular all the scope from the leadership to the employees who support one another by sharing knowledge and teaching directly. At that time, I felt that as part of a team at DDTC, I had the same burden and responsibility in completing the work tasks in the office, because the right and wrong of the work was part of what I had contributed. All the internship experience I obtained while I was at DDTC was a great experience. I believe, the internship experience at DDTC which sets high standards for taxation world in Indonesia will be beneficial for me out there. Moreover, all DDTC’s employees’ loyalty and professionalism will bring DDTC to be the best tax consultant both at National and International levels.
