Leo Joko Purnomo

My name is Leo Joko Purnomo, a student majoring in Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. My participation in the 2.5-month-executive internship program in the Compliance and Litigation division has been one of the best experiences of my life. Throughout the internship, I learned a great deal of insightful knowledge that was unlike college. Direct practice demands constant learning and keeping up with tax issues. The distribution of Job descriptions and Mentoring enables the internship program participants to learn about the world of taxation more extensively, in particular, tax compliance and litigation. Fun and friendly mentors engender a conducive and pleasant working atmosphere.

The opportunity to meet with clients and be directly involved in trial proceedings has been one of my most memorable job descriptions during the internship. A flexible work culture provides endless opportunities to explore knowledge and information from seniors, and even from partners. The DDTC executive internship program serves as the bridge towards the dream of becoming a tax practitioner. Hopefully, DDTC continues to thrive into a global research and knowledge-based tax institution.
