As my internship would be my first experience to get involved with practical taxation case, I had tried to find a work place environment that could help me work effectively. My choice was DDTC, because I had learnt from my friend that DDTC was a very good place to learn about tax cases. And as expected, I enjoyed the working environment at DDTC a lot. The positivity in the work place felt so much like home. The fact that most of employees were of a similar age to me made my internship days at DDTC more delightful. So the learning process was easier.

Working at DDTC was a very pleasant experience. I have developed an in depth understanding of tax litigation during these past two months. Here, I learned about tax litigation, consisting tax audit, objection and appeal processes. Furthermore, I was also involved in giving advisories to clients with various cases, meeting with clients and observing tax trials. Those activities have helped me gain further knowledge about taxation that I didn’t learn from classes during my study. In conclusion, DDTC internship program was a great start in my future career. Thank you so much for the knowledge.

As Betty Bender once said “When people go to work, they shouldn’t have to leave their hearts at home.”

But, I don’t. When I go to work, I bring my heart to DDTC.
