International Tax is a taxation field closely related to DDTC’s professionals’ expertise. It can be said DDTC is renowned due to its Transfer Pricing and International Tax services, despite the fact that DDTC has Compliance and Litigation Services division (commonly known as ComLit) comprising experts in domestic tax and regional tax (this is proven by DDTC’s position in Tier-2 Tax Firm according to International Tax Review 2017). I have joined DDTC in ComLit division since 2014. Thus far, I have been given a number of opportunties to learn various skills which are typical of DDTC, namely international tax and transfer pricing, by attending trainings conducted by DDTC through its Human Resources Development Program (HRDP). Futhermore, DDTC gives me an opportunity to “test” my international tax ability by enrolling me on 13 June, 2017 in Paper 1 examination: Principles of International Taxation in order to obtain the Advanced Diploma degree in International Taxation (ADIT) conducted by Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) which is an internationally prestigious and globally acknowledged degree.

For me to graduate in the test to obtain the ADIT degree, DDTC fully prepares the necessary learning facilities. The complete library, group study, and a chance that I will never be given elsewhere, study preparation from international tax experts abroad. Alhamdulillah, DDTC enrolled me in a 2 (two)-day course program, 30-31 March 2017, held by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) with the theme "International Taxation: Cross-Border Tax Issues and Tax Treaties". My participation in the course at ISCA is one of HRDP programs provided by DDTC, in accordance with DDTC’s commitment to develop its employees’ knowledge capacity and capability to accomplish DDTC’s vision and jargon, namely “Sets the Standards and Beyond”.
